A Step-by-Step Guide to Designer Test Shoot Techniques | Professional Lighting & Equipment Explained

In this video, I’ll be taking you through a step-by-step guide to a test shoot me and my team did for a designer client. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at what one of my shoots actually looks like from a technical perspective.
➡️ I’ll take you through what equipment we used for this shoot, including the background that we used as well as the lighting setup. This isn’t a particularly complex setup but I thought it would be helpful to go through it. For this shoot, the setup included three - one overhead, one to the side and one to another side.

You can see through some of the stills of the final shots we’ve included how each of these elements came together to create the visuals that were present and I talk through that in a bit more detail in the video as well.
