Rare in the context of the British Isles as these are mainly American Sandpipers and probably numerous in the United States. This is a guide showing information to help with I.D. in the field. Some of the footage is high resolution and detailed, in a couple of cases sheer distance from the subject means it was impossible to achieve the detail I would like but I'm sure there's enough to make it useful.
