Beneath the sacred sweetgum trees located in South West Turkey, where roots embrace the gentle creek, we shared a moment—water shimmering, birds singing, tortoises drifting in quiet harmony.
His healing music, flowing effortlessly from where he is to every corner of the world.
Özgür is a Turkish folk music artist who has attracted attention with his naive music in all corners of the world for years. During his years of living in India, he has blended Indian classical music practices with the “Cura” instrument he plays and has performed works from mystical traditions in his own way. His song bridges centuries of Sufi tradition, melding poetic verse with blissful musical notes.
Özgür, the first contributor to our project, offers a fresh listening experience to all his listeners with this improvised recording.
Gently fluff up your ears and prepare to take a journey together through this magical forest.
