Watch U Strappin'?! Ep. 518 - TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph StrapsCo Black Rally Strap w Red Stitch

Solargraph Sunday with my TAG Heuer Formula 1. I like the stock bracelet this watch comes on. As you may or may not know, I also like to try watches on other straps from time to time. This time I have the Formula 1 on a black leather rally strap with red accent stitching I recently bought from StrapsCo along with a few others.

I think it works pretty well and not too bad considering the price, around $20 or so give or take after the promotional discount of buy 2 & get 1 free.

What I would have liked to have tried is mix matching a version of this strap, but with green contrast stitching. I think having both red and green would have worked nicely to tie into the TAG Heuer logo colors. It would work nicely as a sporty accent color and something a little bit different visually. BUT, they don't have that color option 😞. Maybe I'll have custom one made?🤔

Another strap option I'd like to try on the Formula 1 is to get TAG Heuer rubber or PU straps, whatever they are actually made of, in the same style as the included options for some of their other Formula 1 watches. The straps have the TAG Heuer logo models into the upper section of the strap. But, TAG Heuer do not offer alternate straps for their new Formula 1 Solargraph watches either ☹️. Perhaps an aftermarket brand could make one in the near future?

Anyways... Until then, I'll happily try this watch on whatever I think will work whenever the occasion arises.
