Vapor Purity Battle: What’s the BEST Material? Utillian 723 vs Venty vs Solo 3

The materials found in the airpath, heating chamber, and vapor path are equally, if not more important than heating technology. Not only are purer materials hard and more difficult to work with, but they are also more expensive. This is a big reason why cheap devices generally cannot deliver high vapor quality.


The Arizer Solo 3 focuses primarily on their signature glass tube and metal based construction ideology. The glass tube has the disadvantage of being fragile and is mostly suitable only for home use, but it also keeps flavour as pure as possible.

The Utillian 723, in contrast, uses a steel and zirconia-based heating chamber, mouthpiece, and vapor path. Zirconia is pretty expensive to work with, and Utillian put it right at the mouthpiece.



The Venty uses a lot of plastic in the cooling unit and mouthpiece. The German supply chain is very good at working with high-quality plastics, but they have their drawbacks which are flavor related. All that being said, the Venty has the best execution of plastics.
