This time I headed to the eastern section of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park with Jon from @twoWelshtravellers for a wild camp on the summit of Pen Y Gadair Fawr in the Black Mountains.
We followed a circular walk from Pengenffordd over the famous Dragon's Back and were treated to some of the most spectacular scenery I've seen.
This was my first time using the Helm Compact 1 from Wild Country by Terra Nova and I couldn't have been happier with my choice, it was really easy to pitch and stood up to some testing winds.
