Being Cheap Ain't Always Cheap - AGM Battery Problems

In this video, I go through the troubleshooting of my van's house battery. I eventually realized that it was in fact dead, so I ended up replacing it. This battery died after about 2 and a half years of service, not heavy usage for the most part. In hindsight I probably should of went with a lithium setup from the start. I originally went this route because of costs, but now that I had to buy 2 batteries in less than 3 years, the lithium setup probably costs the same or maybe even cheaper. I just replaced the battery with the same exact one because it was the easiest solution. If it fails again, I will kind of be in the same situation of replacing it with the same battery again, or I'll be "forced" to change to a lithium setup at that time. At that point, I would probably be at double the cost of just starting with a high quality lithium setup from the start. Sometimes it is just cheaper to spend heavy at the start, because you save money on the back end. I could also be being too harsh on this battery, and maybe this lifespan is what should be expected, and maybe this is all the life span I would of gotten out of a Lithium battery too. I have no idea.
Anyways, I'm glad that it wasn't my fridge that died, or I would of had to roast BougeRV in a video. Instead, I'm still happy with my fridge, and knowing that my battery was dying, it probably actually did a good job continuing to work even with a compromised battery. I'm also happy that my mini heater now works. I originally saw this heater on Casey250's channel, and I thought it was a good option for occasional use inside the van. Unfortunately(maybe fortunately) the weather is warming up, so I probably won't be able to test my cold weather setup until next winter. I also ate at Lully's hot dog stand in this video. It's located in the Canadian Tire parking lot at the Abbotsford BC location. You can also get his hot dogs at Abbotsford Canucks games in the Abbotsford arena, and maybe even in Rogers Arena in Vancouver, but I'm not 100% sure about that anymore. His stand has been blowing up lately because Bethenny Frankel did a food tour of Abbotsford, and her tik tok of Lully's went viral. He's an interesting guy, he hates ketchup, and he donated one of his kidneys to one of his customers. It's a pretty cool story, and it's a great way to hide the pain of having to pay $400 for a new battery...
