Learning from KOTRA (코트라): Opportunities for The Startups in Michigan and Korea

I had an interview with Ms. Sunyun Kwon, Manager at KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency). KOTRA is a state-funded trade and investment promotion organization operated by the Government of South Korea. It has facilitated Korea's rapid export-led economic development through various trade promotion activities such as overseas market surveys, SME export promotion, government-to-gov't export, foreign investment in Korea promotion, and business matchmaking.

I was curious to know how KOTRA is currently operating during the pandemic and what will be the future opportunities that KOTRA can offer to the startups in Michigan and Korea. I was excited to learn that KOTRA is successfully engaged in many entrepreneurial activities. I hope that there will be more collaborative opportunities between Korean startups and Michigan startups.
