Streets of Rage 2 - New World Record Speedrun! Max (Normal)

After 7 months of intense grinding, I've finally achieved a New World Record Speedrun for Max (Normal) on Streets of Rage 2.

——UPDATE——

So, due to both mine and Anthopants’ times being exactly 23:24, the speedrun mods frame counted both runs and found the runs were MUCH closer than we thought.

The previous WR was: 23m 24s 120ms
This time is : 23m 24s 060ms

A difference of 0.06s! That’s 0.54s closer than first thought!

Absolutely insane time and just goes to show how optimised this run is now. Shoutout to the legendary Anthopants for pushing it this low in the first place, without his work on this game, times across the board would be nowhere near where they are now. I look forward to people coming to try and definitively break this record once and for all. Good luck!

It literally could not have been any closer at the end of the run, and a clutch last couple of levels turned this into a killer run!
