Fifteen plus years ago a set of Lester coaster brake BMX wheels were brought it to be rebuilt. It was missing the internals of the rear wheel. At the time there was very little on the internet about what parts were used to build the Lester wheels. Every time I got some old coaster wheel in to be replaced I would take out the parts and try to install the parts onto the Lester wheel. I probably tried the same internals more then once over the years. The customer(Anthony) after a year just said to keep the wheels. After working at the same shop for eleven years I left and took the wheels with me. I did not give up. It took awhile but we finally got it.
