The third edition of Thrive Africa Vegan Restaurant Week has officially begun, uniting food lovers, chefs, and advocates across the continent in a celebration of healthy, sustainable, plant-based cuisine. The week-long event runs from November 24 to 30, 2025, featuring activities in more than a dozen African countries including Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
Organized by Thrive Africa, a department of Thrive Philanthropy, the initiative is the world’s first pan-African vegan campaign. It aims to highlight Africa’s rich plant-based culinary traditions while promoting climate-friendly dining and healthier food choices.
