This has been uploaded as a request from a viewer. This is the final performance of "Defying Gravity" as performed by Caissie Levy. Glinda was played by Megan Hilty. I believe this is one of THE best performances of DG I have ever seen! Everyone really brought their best to their performance this night, and I am so glad I got to be a part of the audience! This is the first time I have ever experienced an audience applaud when Elphaba 'transforms' into the 'Wicked' witch, which was cool. There is a LOT of audience applause, a ton of cheering, and there was a pretty hefty standing ovation at the end. This is only audio, but you get the feel for it.
*Note- the picture is mine but the audio is not. Repeat, I did not record this audio, I barely had a camera in 2008 and definitely did not have the technology to record anything back then.
