I GOT KIDNEY FAILURE AT AGE 20… My story - HANTAVIRUS

Today I'm sharing with you the story where I got acute kidney failure due to a rare disease called "Hantavirus". I had never heard of this disease prior to getting it, and I'm sure many people out there haven't heard of it either. That's why I thought it would be good to share my story, and put a little bit of light on this!
I only spent a little over a day in the hospital, because I was already through the worst part and on my way to recovery.

What is Hantavirus?

Hantaviruses are a family of viruses spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied disease syndromes in people worldwide. Infection with any hantavirus can produce hantavirus disease in people. You get it through inhalation of excrements of urine, saliva or droppings from rodents.
