The Simplest (But Most Expensive) Perchlorate Cell

The long awaited perchlorate video. The easiest perchlorate cell to run.

Using our boron-doped diamond electrode and a split cell system, we electrolyse a sodium chloride solution to oxidise the chloride ions all the way to perchlorate. Whilst it's not a particularly practical cell to use, this system is essentially fool proof in that it's near impossible for the cell or electrodes to degrade, regardless of operating conditions.
