Congratulations to Kyoto Tachibana High School Wind Band for winning the Gold Award!
Congratulations to Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School Wind Band for winning the Silver Award!
The All-Japan Marching Band Competition (全日本マーチングコンテスト), held annually since 1988, is the most anticipated event for wind band students across Japan. This year's award marks Tachibana High School's fifth consecutive year winning the highest honor, the Gold Award—truly remarkable! Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School also won the Gold Award four times consecutively from 2019 to 2023 (the competition was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic), and is the only team to have achieved perfect attendance and qualify for this national competition since its inception—a super model student!

The Kyoto Tachibana High School Wind Ensemble and the Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School Wind Ensemble, two of Japan's strongest wind ensembles, will be visiting Taiwan in December for the "2025 Taiwan Expedition" series of events. The organizer, the General Association of Chinese Culture, has generously added to the program, announcing that in addition to the three previously announced ticketed performances, the two schools will also be performing at the 320+1 Chiayi City Expo Theme Pavilion (the planned site of the Chiayi City Government North Building) and the Pingtung County Track and Field Stadium, bringing cultural exchange performances to local students and promoting friendship between Taiwan and Japan through energetic music.
The Orange Devil and the Emerald Knights will join forces in Taiwan for the "2025 Taiwan Expedition – Blowing in Friendship, Dancing with Youth" event. The Kyoto Tachibana High School Brass Band (Orange Devil) and the Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School Brass Band (Emerald Knights) will collaborate in Taiwan for the first time this December. The General Association of Chinese Culture announced today that this "Taiwan Expedition – Blowing in Friendship, Dancing with Youth" project will include three ticketed performances. The first will be a joint performance by the two schools at the Taipei Peace Basketball Gymnasium on December 19th; followed by performances on December 21st at the Kaohsiung Weiwuying Concert Hall by the Tachibana High School Brass Band and at the Chiayi City Cultural Bureau Concert Hall by the Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School Brass Band.
