The Kapi Dance - Behind the Scenes

‘The Kapi Dance’ is a collaboration between Mahesh Raghvan, a Carnatic fusion YouTube sensation and Nandini Shankar, a Hindustani Classical violinist coming from a rich family legacy of Indian Music. They have come together for the first time to create an upbeat and peppy original composition - The Kapi Dance. The 3 elements (Carnatic, Hindustani and EDM) intertwine, dance and converse with each other and yet merge beautifully, creating a unique sound and vibe. The tune is set to the Carnatic Raga Kapi or the Hindustani Raga Mishra Pilu.
