🟥 GUEST – CHARLES KELLEY @ladya
Charles Kelley is a singer, songwriter, and founding member of the Grammy-winning country trio Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum). Born on September 11, 1981, in Augusta, Georgia, Kelley grew up in a musical family and began writing songs at an early age. After moving to Nashville, he co-founded Lady A in 2006 alongside Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood.
The group quickly rose to fame with their 2008 debut album and scored massive hits like "Need You Now," "Just a Kiss," and "American Honey." Their signature blend of country, pop, and soulful harmonies has earned them multiple Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for "Need You Now."
In addition to his work with Lady A, Kelley has pursued solo projects, releasing his album "The Driver" in 2016, which earned a Grammy nomination.
Beyond music, Kelley has been open about his personal struggles, including his journey to sobriety, which he publicly embraced in 2022. His honesty about overcoming addiction has resonated with fans and inspired many.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Kelley continues to be a powerful voice in country music, balancing his role in Lady A with his passion for songwriting and personal growth.
