Shortly after finishing "Sonic is alone." in 2024, I briefly started work on a follow-up using Sonic 2 as a base, aptly named "Tails is alone." However, I quickly realized I was just making the exact same thing all over again. The spark wasn't there anymore.
Here's what survived. A short, unfinished attempt at a sequel that never needed to exist in the first place. Some stories end exactly where they should.
