Katrina, Nina & Dina all got cosmetology licenses (in theory lol). They let Don keep the house but took all the cash and got themselves this beautiful small business lot with townhome attached. They've opened "Caliente," a full-service beauty salon which has been wildly successful - showing Don they're just fine without him and his sleazeball behavior.
**NOTE: Unfortunately, doing hair and makeup in the chairs is not an activity with businesses. For my own play, I didnt even hire Nina and Dina, I just clicked on chairs and had them offer to customers. Then I hired 3 employees who did “spa activities,” cleaned, and were friendly. The salon had a one-time door charge with a 50% markup and did pretty well. The activities were to do “spa activities,” be friendly, and listen to music. Hair and makeup are also not skills, so I couldn’t even treat it like a school and have them mentor with the chairs (you CAN do that with the massage chairs if you have 7+ wellness skill).
It DID make money, I just didn’t find it as much fun as the paint and sip and pottery business, or a daycare I have played in my own gameplay.
