Samsung Galaxy M42 vs Galaxy M51 vs Galaxy F62: Camera Comparison

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is now the most affordable 5G phone from Samsung in India. It definitely has good pricing and starts at Rs 21,999 with 5G support and a powerful processor but it misses out the best on paper cameras you would expect from a phone that comes at a 20k price bracket. Samsung Galaxy M42 comes pack with 48mp + 8mp + 5mp + 5mp quad camera setup. Hence, we thought it’d be a good idea to compare the camera of this phone with similarly priced Samsung Galaxy M51 and Samsung Galaxy F62 and see whether in real life it can compete with these two devices.


Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Specifications and Price:
The phone has a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G octa-core chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging speed. On the camera front, the phone packs a 48MP rear camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro sensor. Whereas on the front, it has a 20MP selfie shooter. Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is priced in India at Rs 21,999 for 6GB + 128GB variant and Rs 23,999 for 8GB + 128GB variant.


Samsung Galaxy M51 Specifications and Price:
Samsung Galaxy M51 on the other hand has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display and has the same 60hz refresh rate. Along with this the phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and is loaded with a 7,000mAh battery with 25w charging speed. Moving towards the camera department it consists of a 64MP rear camera which accompanies a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro shooter and a 5MP depth sensor as well. It also supports a 32MP front camera as well. Samsung Galaxy M51 is starting price is Rs 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs 24,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage.


Samsung Galaxy F62 Specifications and Price:
This Galaxy offers the same display as M51. It comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus panel and has a 60hz refresh rate as well. The Galaxy F62 has the company's own processor that is Exynos 9825 processor which proves to be a powerful processor among both. Just like the M51 it also has a 7,000mAh battery and supports 25w charging speed. When we look at the camera specs F62 again has a similar camera setup. It comes with a 64MP main camera, 12MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro sensor as well. Samsung Galaxy F62 can be purchased at 23,999 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas, for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant you will have to shell out Rs 25,999.
