Today, I'm going to show you how I clean under the throatplate, as well as the bobbin area, of my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960. It's the same way I clean my semi-industrial Brother PQ1500SL and most machines are similar.
Each month, during the first What's Up Wednesday of the month, I remind you all to clean the dust from your machine, because sometimes we get so busy sewing that we don't think about how quickly the dust and threads build up under there. A bit of routine maintenance is all it takes to keep your machine stitching perfectly! If you find that your stitches aren't even, or maybe you're finding skipped stitches, it might be that you need to clean the dust so that the machine can stitch properly. It's all very simple and quick, so what are you waiting for?
