Ryuju Nagayama is a Japanese male judoka who competes in the -60 kg weight category. Nagayama is the 2025 world champion and 2-time bronze medalist. He is also an Olympic bronze medalist and 2022 Asian champion. For a long time Nagayama was one of the most exciting judokas in the world; despite his small height, he is one of the most powerful athletes in lower weight classes. His main arsenal consists of Uchi Mata, Seoi Nage, Sode Tsurikomi Goshi, and his trademark low Ura Nage.
