We took a look at the $77 T-Bone BC500 to compare it to the legendary Shure SM7B.

We compare Talking, Singing, Snare, Kick In, Kick Out, Clean Guitar, OD Guitar through both mics. Very comparable if you ask me. Shure had a bit more body and proximity effect, where the T-Bone has a bit more presence and has an over all higher output. Every thing was recorded with the same exact pre amp gain from the Apollo Unison pre-amps and then level matched. Guitars were recorded direct and re-amped to get exact mic placement. Kick In was recorded separate but you get the idea.
