In this video, Bob Paulinski, Master of Wine will discuss two classic dessert wines, including a tasting of each. The wines to be highlighted:
2021 Chateau Doisy Daene Barsac (Sauternes), an excellent vintage for wines for this part of Bordeaux. The wines sell for about $22 per 375ml bottle. It can be found at some west coast Costco's, along with Total Wine. It can be found in a number of other specialty retailers, including good availability in many markets around the world.
All Saints Estate Rutherglen Muscat, produced in the northern part of Victoria, Australia. Made from is locally called Brown Muscat, the wine is fortified and aged in a Solera. The wine sells for about $18 for a 375ml bottle. The wine can be kept for weeks after opening.
