STORYLINE

After Steffy realizes she is pregnant by Jeff's baby, she tries to tell him and tells him she doesn't care what he had done in the past, but he, thinking she's lying, tells her to leave. Steffy is heartbroken over this and thinks about giving her unborn baby up for adoption, but her best friend Kelly Severide tries to tell her not to. Her other best friend Gabby tries to tell her not to do it either. Steffy feels like she can't do it alone, with Kelly comforting her. Eventually she decides to keep her baby and Kelly is there every step of her pregnancy, like her friend Will Halstead is. Once her baby is born, Kelly is the godparent of her son Jonathan. Steffy and Will grows closer, both realizing there might be more to it, but are hesitant as they don't want to jeopardize their friendship. Unable to fight his feelings, Will breaks up with the girl he had been dating and tells Steffy he have feelings for Steffy and is falling for her who confesses she's falling for him too. The two kiss.
