CITROËN RALLY & RACING HISTORY | Finally seeing the Xsara Kit Car after 24 years

About 2 months ago, on my return home from Le Mans classic, I stopped by the Citroen Conservatoire in Paris.
I've wanted to visit this place for over 10 years already, but never had the opportunity to go there. Untill now.
This is not really considered a museum, but more like a collection.
It is located in the north-east of Paris, close to the Airport.
In this video I only focussed on the rally/racing cars, but there is much more to see at this place.
As some of you might know, I love the "Xsara kit car" so it was the main reason for my visit.
I've added sounds from most of the cars in this video, taken from my archive footage.
The Xsara kit car has sounds from the 306 MAXI which used the same engine.

This video is the 1999th video uploaded on my channel.
It kind of has a connection with the nr. 1999, since the Xsara Kit Car won 2 WRC events in that year.
Which was very special at that time.

After 21 years of competing the the WRC, Citroën withdrew in 2019 with an impressive 102 victories, 9 drivers and 8 constructor championships.
