Blindfolded SM64 - 70 Star WORLD RECORD by Bubzia in

This video shows the newest blindfolded world record in Super Mario 64. Bubzia managed to finish his 2025 70 Star speedrun grind on 19th March 2025 with this amazing run. The final time was 1 hour, 16 minutes and 41 seconds.

This world record was set on day 91 of the grind (in terms of streams), and was around 5 months in the making. 70 Star is one, if not the hardest blindfolded category in SM64, as it is both optimized for speed like 16 Star, but also incredibly long, closer to 120 Star. So it combines the worst of both worlds: incredible precision and really hard strats together with hour long focus that cannot break even for a single second.

Bubzia struggled a lot with this grind, as the improvements were slow and many things had to be rerouted, but finally the grind is over and Bubzia can move on to 120 Star next!!! Maybe one day he will come back for a sub 1h15m!
