AU Mic b: Position of the Host Star with Respect to β Pictoris Members

A visualization of all known stars in the β Pictoris moving group, compared with the position of the Sun, on which the green circles are centered. The green circles have radii between 10 and 100 light years. The camera moves around the β Pictoris moving group, and then I gradually increase the brightness of AU Mic to show where it is located: it is one of the β Pictoris moving group stars nearest to us.
