The way clinical trials are conducted in the European Union has changed significantly since the Clinical Trials Regulation No. 536/2014 came into force on January 2022. The regulation harmonizes the submission, assessment and monitoring procedures for clinical trials in the EU via the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS). But what is CTIS?
