The first and original Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland that was supervised and created by Walt Disney!

Disney recently had fixed and restored some effects, but the Fort Bombardment scene still doesn't have all the cannons working and the sound of the cannons are not loud as in the past. At least almost all the water effects were restored. The cannons on the Spanish fort used to much louder since they're more powerful than the ones on the Wicked Wench, but the Spanish defending their island from the pirates lost anyway which caused Puerto Dorado of Isla Tesoro to be pillaged, burned, and ransacked by Captain Barbossa and his men.

The original Pirates of the Caribbean is the longest and superior version of the attraction despite the 1997 PC changes and the alternation of the original iconic Bride Auction scene into the current scene with Redd.

Compare to other Pirates of the Caribbean attractions in MK, DLP, and TDL for example: The bombardment scene (Wicked Wench vs Spanish Fort) has Spanish soldiers on the fort manning the cannons unlike the other versions of Pirates of the Caribbean that lacks the soldiers on the fortress, you can only hear them. Which is why the Disneyland original remains superior and exclusive with the famous iconic battle scene after the Grotto scenes.
