In Chapter III, grief becomes a vow written in blood.
“Oath of the Dreambound” follows the narrator as he takes Mare’s own blade and carves his promise into his chest, binding himself to the Dream Reaper and to the woman he refused to let stay dead. No gods witness it. No angels weep. Only Mare, rusted stars, and ash where his old life used to be.
He calls her back to walk beside him, day and night, whatever the cost. Mare warns that what he calls love is just the dream deceiving him, but the oath is already sealed. From here on, he is Dreambound: sworn to guide a resurrected ghost through a world where dreams rot and reality frays.
Play this one loud. It’s the sound of devotion curdling into destiny.

Lyrics:
Speak the name.
Draw the line.
Love is death when crossed through time.
I took the blade from Mare’s own hand,
A sliver hewn from no man’s land.
Its edge was cold, its weight was thin—
Like cutting truth from mortal skin.
I etched the vow into my chest,
Each word a thorn, each breath a test.
He watched me bleed without a sound—
And said, “Now rise... the Dreambound.”
Dreambound I walk, a soul in chain,
Through ash and fog, through love and bane.
I gave my blood, I gave her name—
And now I burn in sacred flame.
He drew a circle ‘round my form,
Of bone and salt and silent storm.
He whispered oaths that bent the stars,
And stitched my heart with funeral scars.
The wind stood still, the earth held breath,
As time uncurled its threads of death.
And there I stood, no longer whole—
Her memory bound into my soul.
“I call her forth,” I dared to say,
“To walk beside me, night and day.”
But Mare beneath, like rustling leaves:
“What you call love… the dream deceives.”
Dreambound I kneel, in shadow’s grace,
A ghost that wears a lover’s face.
I begged for light and broke the sky—
Now even hope forgets to cry.
No gods bore witness to my vow,
No angels wept, no heavens bowed.
Just Mare, and stars that turned to rust,
And ash where once I placed my trust.
She didn’t ask for this return,
She didn’t scream, she didn’t burn.
But now she walks where dreams decay—
And I must guide or lose my way.
“Let her wake,”
“Let her breathe,”
“Let her break what you believe.”
