Explorers Lodge Hotel Tour - Hong Kong Disneyland, World of Colour, Dragon Wind & Deluxe Room

In today's video we're giving you a full in depth tour of the Explorer's Lodge Hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Explorer's Lodge Hotel is a relatively new addition to the Hong Kong Disneyland resort, opening in April 2017 it is far newer than the other 2 hotels at the resort, Hollywood Hotel & Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.

As we enter the lobby we're greeted with what resembles a safari, African savanna theme, the theme of the hotel as a whole is geared towards exploration, each of the wings of the hotel has a different continental theme.

The gift shop here is called, Trading Post, this is where you'll be able to pick up all of your toys and trinkets as well as other items that you may want.

The resort has a number of food locations, we managed to eat at 2 of these and you'll see a brief review of each in the video, the main sit down restaurants are World of Colour and Dragon Wind. World of Colour as it implies features a menu brimming with colourful food, though we opted not to go for this, we were not disappointed in our food selection! The 2nd restaurant is Dragon Wind, we ate here for a buffet breakfast, relatively cheap due to the location of the resort, this expansive restaurant featured an incredible selection of food from all over the world, with live cooking happening and a full open kitchen behind the buffet selection, we were here for the first sitting of the day so it wasn't busy and the food was fresh, we can't say what it would be like as the time goes on.

At the resort you also have the Dreamers Lookout which was sadly closed whilst we were here and also the Chart Room Cafe, this was the quick service grab and go on site.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room which we take you through, showing you what the room looks like and the facilities it has to offer.

The resort also features a play area for smaller children, Nemo's Recreation Reef, this is a small soft play area located on the ground floor, whilst we're here we also took the opportunity to see the most amazing hidden Mickey and Minnie's in the world!

We also take you outside to the Rain Drop Pool, this is the onsite outdoor pool at the hotel, it's the only pool onsite and it's sparsely themed so slightly boring though it's still a nice addition. Whilst we're out here we also take you around some of the themed gardens that are nice to explore and relax in, here the hotel puts on activities throughout the day and night too.
