Acura Integra DA9 Lowering Springs Install (Old grimy suspension)

The rear suspension was pieced together by someone long ago, eBay lower control arms, DC Integra struts, it originally came with coil over sleeves that were awful so I gave him mine, which were better compared.

I’m not using the proper DA9 struts in the rear, so I don’t know if the rear sag was due to the springs or the different suspension geometry of the DC struts. So I can’t say the springs are bad. But I really like them. I’ve been using TruHart camber kits and other products for years and they make solid parts for a good deal. I know people might question that but it’s true lol. I also know people that use full truhart setups on track cars with no issues.

I got the car driving with what I had and it’s actually surprisingly smooth. The complete rear end needs a full tear down and rebuild using proper new 2nd gen parts, but that’ll be for the feature.

Car needs full brakes front and rear, brake booster, rear exhaust pipe fixed, and an axle boot. Not a lot but with my injury I don’t know how long all that would take.

This video is old, I recorded the last clips recently. Close cousin of mine died, so I’m basically in the black hole again. Dealing with planning a funeral and gatherings all over again, on top of that dealing low back and leg pain while making these videos, so videos are going to be slow to make and put out.
