Linux Has a Secret Weapon and it's FSR

Today Linux beets windows 100% of tie time in gaming using the power of FSR. That's right used Proton GE we have the power to turn FSR on in any game and using that we are able to completely destroy our windows metrics to the same system.

Today we are going to talking about and benchmarking FSR performance on Linux using proton GE. Proton GE is a labor of love from user GloriousEggroll and can be downloaded and installed for free off of get hub. We talk about it in this video here

After you get Proton GE installed all you will need to do is add the line of code to your launch commands
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1

All this code dose is tell the render to use FSR instead of the scaler built into Wine so if the application in question is not using a scaler then FSR won't activate. I have found that for a 1440p monitor lowering to 1080p has the best results.
