KH2FM - Marluxia Data No Damage/Magic/etc (LV1 CM)

Finally did Marluxia. He actually wasn't the first one I beat last night, but he's the first one I beat with restrictions. The people who were watching me do it on Stickam will understand how difficult this actually is and how easy it is to die. I thought it'd be as easy as his AS version, but I was way off. Rules:

No Damage
No Magic/Reflect!
No Drive
No Limit
No Item
No Summons
No using stat boosts
No Armor
No Accessories

Can use any keyblade.

Only have any of the following abilities equipped:

Guard
Horizontal Slash/Air Side Slash
Finisher Rise/Leap
Flash Step
Slide Dash
Guard Break
Explosion
Aerial Spiral
Aerial Dive
Aerial Finish
Counterguard

High Jump LV3
Quick Run Lv3
Dodge Roll Lv3
Aerial Dodge LV3
Glide LV3

Scan
Combo Master
Combo Plus (if you want)
Reaction Up
Finishing Plus (only can be obtained in FM at LV1)

The beginning and end of the fight is different this time. The beginning, instead of trying to take you out as soon as it starts, he casts the thorn move. Now that you have Glide, it's rather easy to avoid. After that, he casts the red spot move, and after THAT it then goes into the same loops as the AS version.

The end of the fight is where it gets extremely tough. Maybe it's just me, but his DM is much more difficult to dodge with Quick Run LV3, only because LV3 tosses you farther, so you have to time it perfect or you'll get clipped by the sycthe. After the DM, he'll cast the thorn move, do the red spot move, and cast the thorn move again. This is where it's tricky. If you're not doing my challenge, mash Reflega and you'll be fine. If you ARE doing my challenge, you'll have to do a very well timed Dodge Roll and then QUick Run OVER a red spot, which requires perfect timing and direction. You CANNOT glide in the air with it this time or he'll attack you in the air and kill you. If anyone knows a better way to dodge this following my restrictions, feel free to tell.

Overall, a lot tougher than it should have been. My original challenge was to use the Kingdom Key, but as everyone saw, it takes way too long. So I just went with DP. It took a good 20 tries to get used to the end of the fight, but after that I got it with DP. If you don't want to use my restrictions, then the fight becomes much much easier, one of the easiest data fights.

I'm going to jump on Stickam again tonight. I won't be able to play for more than a few hours so not sure if I'll get much done, but I'll probably just do more data fights.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.

Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.

Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.

Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.

Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.

Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?

Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.
