Our Most Stunning Spider-Type Daylilies

We have a special place in our hearts for spider-type daylilies. You could even say that Oakes Daylilies exists because of them. At one time, our founder, Bill Oakes had over 400 in his backyard garden!

Today, they are still a favorite of Ken Oakes thanks, in large part, to the memory of his Papaw's fondness for them. In this video, Ken walks us through the garden and shares which 10 (11! We couldn't stop at 10!) he thinks are the most beautiful in our display garden.

FARM-FRESH TO YOU!
When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and produce more blooms quicker.

All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.
