Exploring the GM Ringway, a 186-mile orbital trail around the outskirts of Greater Manchester.
Stage sixteen of the Ringway is a 10 mile leg following the road from Wigan Pier along the Leigh Branch of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to, erm, Leigh. En route there is a deviation around the Three Sisters nature reserve and through Viridor Woods, before entering Leigh town centre via a circuit of Pennington Flash.
