today was one of those cozy, simple days. we started super early with a 3:30 am run to the wet market to stock up on our fresh groceries for the next two weeks. i hadn’t slept yet after my night shift (life of working est in the ph), but nothing a good meal can’t fix.
after getting home, i cleaned and prepped everything, and then it was time to cook one of my husband’s favorite—pinakbet. i make it without bagoong alamang since he doesn’t like it, but fish sauce works just as well. i added squash, sitaw, okra, and yes... even eggplant, even though it’s not my fave.
this vlog is full of market vibes, cooking moments, and a little bit of coziness with our cats. 🥰
