If you want to learn how to make serious, life-changing money by trading ... don’t expect that to happen on a single trade.

This might sound obvious, but there are a ton of new traders who can’t accept that. They want to get rich NOW. And this mentality can hold them back from their true potential.

My student Tim Grittani is the perfect example. He started out with just $1,500 in his account. He slowly grew it by keeping diligent notes about his trades, reviewing, and refining his methods. Now he’s up to over $8 million in trading profits.

His millions didn’t happen overnight. He works hard for his success. He’s dedicated. And he’s scaled up his positions over time.

You’ve got to wait for trades ... you can’t try to force the perfect setup.

When I say this to my students, they say they understand. They say they believe me. But then they say, “Hey, I’m taking next Tuesday off of work to trade ... what should I trade?”

They just don’t get it.

You’ve got to wait for the trades to come to you ... the stock market won’t fit itself into your schedule.

Are you looking for your favorite setups? Then keep looking for them.

Don’t have favorite setups? STUDY MORE and find them.

Studying isn’t fun. It’s boring. It’s not supposed to be exciting. And it has to be a big part of your goals and a means to an end. It’s absolutely essential if you want to be a self-sufficient trader.

Trading is you versus you. Are you mentally ready to take advantage of the opportunities?

Or are you pointing the finger at everyone and everything else around you for your bad trades? Are you blaming stock manipulations or short squeezes for your failures?

Guess what? You can blame whomever or whatever you like. End of day, it’s all on you.

Failing again and again can make anyone feel discouraged. But it’s also an opportunity to learn. So make the decision to invest in yourself first. Invest in your knowledge account.

Every trader experiences losses. Today, Grittani shares how his early losses made him feel out of control. They messed with his head. And he’s had some big ones. His last big loss was $105K ... and no matter how rich you are, that hurts.

That pain was a big motivator. A six-figure loss made him size down and fix his unsustainable habits.

Personally, I had a $500K loss, and you’d better believe that hurts. Even if you still have money, you feel like the world has ended. It’s humiliating, and you feel powerless.
