As our Volvo 850 project continues we wanted to inform you on what is on our to do list, show you the process of removing the front and rear seats and start with some much needed cleaning (we found really nasty stuff in the car). Project’s Background Story -
On February 21 ’09 our dad bought this ’96 Volvo 850 2.5L 20V estate. The Volvo has a big emotional value for us and seeing the car sitting still for so many years and watching nature taking over broke our hearts. After nine years, and sitting outside for 7 of those 9 years, we finally got our hands on the 850 and brought it back to its home where we will restore it to its former glory. Once we finish the restoration, we intend to make a road trip and keep in the family for many more years to come!
General Information -
We intend to document the whole restoration for ourselves, for people close to us and anyone interested in restoring cars or specifically a Volvo 850.
