British Leyland's Triumph TR7 Sprint is an ultra-rare sports coupé. With the Dolomite's 16 valve engine, around 60 were built in the turmoil of 1970s Britain, where the car itself had the bones to succeed. Harris Mann's dramatic styling made it 'the shape of things to come', while its comfort and balance made it a GT, yet it suffered from poor quality and high expectations, attempting to replace both the TR6 and MG B.
