ReVox B-225 revised (WOW!!!)

A wonderful CD player from the past.

The optical reading mechanism is the legendary Philips CDM 0, with the magnetic levitation lens.

This Item is like new because it has worked few times so it sounds really great.

The new digital medium “Compact Disc” was presented at the radio exhibition in Düsseldorf in August 1982. One year later, the first CD player from Regensdorf was released with the ReVox B225. It was constructed with pluggable print cards and was also offered in professional variants as STUDER A725 and STUDER A725 QC (quality control).

Excellent D/A converters and digital filtering (the “oversampling”) were a matter of course here from the start. The symmetrical arrangement of the front panel with drive and CD drawer separated the operating elements in a group for the drive functions on the right side and for programming on the left side.
