The hand can be a very intimidating area to model. Hands are one of the most complex areas of the body to recreate in 3D. Getting the forms, shapes, and silhouettes right is vital to recreating the human hand. In this snippet from a LIVE AnimSchool class, instructor Charles Ellison teaches his awesome approach to constructing the hand in Zbrush. Charles shows us the importance of starting simple, getting the shapes and forms correct, and adding more definition as you go. This method allows beginners to successfully sculpt a hand from scratch in ZBrush.
