As the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise, so, too, do the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19. This week, we bring you four stories from four different corners of the country of people who battled the virus and lived to share their experiences.
00:43 - Bud Johnson, a man in his 70s, was on the brink of death, but survived COVID-19.
2:53 - Joline Griffin, an avid and active runner, found out she had the virus even though she showed no symptoms.
6:35 - Danny Lemos, a young, healthy man with no pre-existing health conditions was put into a medically-induced coma and took part in a remdesivir trial.
9:00 - Billy Shultz is a 27-year-old truck driver who got COVID-19 and deteriorated quickly. He credits a plasma donation from another survivor with saving his life.
