Unbreakable Promise - It's Complicated but HoloPromise sings it

As much as you guys want to me to stay here, I really do have to go. These past four years were some of the best in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Look after and continue to support the other girls for me. And continue to grow and prosper yourselves, my little Saplings. Promise me?

Well, quite a few things have happened since last time I've uploaded, which was around the time Ame graduated. Mainly, Fauna and Chloe have also announced their graduations and we got a second gen of DEV IS being Flow Glow. Also Aqua and Amelia reincarnated already into Yuki Sakuna and Dooby3D. I guess now I feel a little more open about talking about graduated VTuber's PLs/new identities, kind of from watching some stuff from Dokibird and Mint as well as seeing what Sakuna and Dooby are now up to. So although Fauna's graduation did hit me like a truck emotionally (apparently she was my second most watched Holomem last year, first was Biboo btw), especially since Chloe's was the day before. Really unfortunate timing but Cover's at least letting them leave together and not sticking them into a graduation que like a certain black company. Also Chloe's going out the Ame Way with becoming an affiliate so she could appear in future stuff kind of like how the new HoloEN song that featured all 4 gens also had Ame and the Eurobeat remix thing also included Ame's original song Chiku Taku. Fauna's not taking that route though so this is the end of Ceres Fauna the character. And while she did go back to her PL, she's also rebranded with a new character being Nimi Nightmare, who's a baku nurse.

Who knows what's been going on with the business side of things for Cover but one thing's for sure is I do not want to see any more doomposting on "Oh So and So might graduate next" or "Cover's focus too much on idol stuff and is a black company". I don't want to hear any more of that thank you very much. Could it be a factor? Maybe. Could it be that Hololive has grown too big too fast and are trying to catch up internally? Maybe. Could Cover going public might have led to this? Maybe. Will we ever know the full answers? No, most likely not. What I choose to believe is that even though Fauna loves being in Hololive, there are things she wants to do and things that would be easier for her to do if she wasn't in Hololive and thus made the hard decision to leave. Fauna herself said with wasn't because she doesn't like to do the idol stuff and even if she wasn't good at it at first, she grew to enjoy singing and the idol stuff. She did say disagreements with management which could mean anything from one particular bad manager to how slow getting approval for things is to disagreeing with what the future plans of the company are.

Anyway, enough negativity, I made this cover as my way of saying goodbye to Fauna and send her off. I waited for the day of to release this as Fauna's graduation stream is later today of posting this. As you can see, I used It's Complicated from the FNF Soft mod with Fauna as BF/Benjamin and the other Promise girls as GF/Grace. Sana also makes a brief appearance at the end, being there to pick Fauna up. I can't do this since I don't have models for it but for this, since the BG is a train station, I'd imagine the train would pull into station near the end and Sana would run out to greet her old genmates and to pick up Fauna. The two would wave goodbye to IRyS, Bae, Kronii, and Mumei and board the train. On the train, they would become Nimi and Namie and then Dooby would walk up to them as ask for tickets while giving Nimi a warm smile silently saying "Didn't expect to see you here, but nice to see you again".

But yeah as for future stuff, I will also be making a tribute cover for Chloe when her departure happens later this month. I've also been working on chromatics and covers for Flow Glow so look forward for that. Also since I have been mentioning PLs and reincarnations, maybe I could now use Delutaya, Kson, Nazuna/Mikeneko, Namie, Lando, Randon, Rica, Sakuna, Dooby, and Nimi, (and whatever Chloe will reincarnate into) in future covers if I want to. I mean their voices are still the same so why not use them too? Could help me bridge out from just doing Hololive covers maybe and I wouldn't have to make or find any new chromatics as opposed to if I wanted to use VTubers from say VShojo or Phase Connect or indies like Doki or Mint.

Oh yeah, and Happy New Year 2025! Hopefully this year goes better than last year. And thank you for everything, Ceres Fauna.
