Madeira is a beautiful island and it can leave you in awe with its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking views. However, it is not necessarily known for its pristine golden and white sand beaches that most travellers look for when choosing a holiday destination.
Its volcanic origins are the main reason why Madeira’s beaches are mostly characterised by black sand or pebbles present on the beach which can be quite uncomfortable.
There are however pretty unique spots where you can take a plunge on this amazing island and in this vlog we are gonna check out a few of our favourite places on Madeira where you can go for a refreshing swim.
