Order 11 Rule 7 – Objection to Answer
A party may object to any interrogatory on the ground that it is scandalous, irrelevant, not bona fide, or not necessary for the case.
The objection must be made at the time of answering, with proper reasons.

Order 11 Rule 8 – Setting Aside and Striking Out Interrogatories
The court has the power to strike out any interrogatory that is unreasonable, vexatious, scandalous, or irrelevant.
This ensures that the discovery process is not misused to harass the other party.
