The synergy of a group of talented musicians is what really brought the tale of Rajula and Malushahi to life. An assortment of authentic Kumaoni instruments simply elevated the listening experience of #Sonchadi – the sarangi is a short-necked three-stringed instrument, usually made from a single block of wood. Shaped like a damru, the handcrafted hudka is an authentic Uttarakhandi instrument. Accompanying them was the soulful notes of the flute and the classic sound of the dholak, while they even used a kansa thali as an instrument! The keys, guitars and drums gave the track its new-age feel.
