My Burner Features

My burner is safer than most DIY YouTube burners because:
1. The transformer that is safer than a MOT from a microwave oven. A MOT is not designed to be used to burn wood. The MOT steel core is one leg of the HV circuit, very dangerous!
2. A thermo-switch on the secondary coil opens if the transformer gets over 130C degrees.
3. 20A power cord,
4. 30A manual reset CB,
5. Lighted power switch,
6. Dedicated burner switch,
7. Isolated control circuit,
8. 30A power relay,
9. 12AWG silicone power wiring, 18AWG control circuit
10. Plug-in footswitch,
11. Optional hand controller,
12. Double insulated HV 80" leads,
13. PVC probes with ceramic insulators, 30KV disconnects.
14. Earth-grounded transformer, and aluminum chassis,
15. Volt/Ammeter,
16. 5000-watt VVR (Variable Voltage Regulator) to limit power for finely detailed burns, (Same purpose as a Variac).
17. Two push-pull ventilation fans,
18. LEDs to indicate that the power is "ON",
My burners were not designed on YouTube, they were designed because of YouTubes' dangerous videos.
NOTES:
An unsafe YouTube burner is cheap to make and very easy by YouTube videos. The downside is that you may not live to enjoy the art that you produce!
I can’t design a “safe -to-use” burner without using many quality components.
