As me and my sister who is no longer with us come up on 25 years since our initial meeting in 1996. I thought this would be a perfect teaching moment.
The Icon Yolanda Jourdan met as competitiors and rivals in our scene being from two different states, and ended as sisters forever.
The 1996 Philly Awards ball. Held in Philadelphia in the beginning 1997 would be one of the most memorable moments we had in ballroom. BACK WHEN THERE WERE RIVALS. Your rival would bring out energy in you, you never thought you had.
We would battle 3 different times this night.
